Green Saves Green Board Meeting Minutes

6:30 p.m., Pasquotank County Library

Present: Julie Foster, Marlene Greer, Sue Miller, Misti Rewis, Jared Tardiff, Holly White

Approval of 2026 Budget

A motion was made to accept the 2026 Budget as presented. The motion was approved unanimously.

Approval of Bench Expenditure

A motion was made for GSG to purchase a Trex bench for River Road Middle School students participating in the NexTrex Recycling Challenge in the event they reach 1,000 pounds of soft plastics collected and do not win a bench in the prize drawing.  The motion was approved unanimously.

Conflict of Interest Policy

The GSG Conflict of Interest Policy was discussed and signed by board members who were present. Other Board members to sign at a later date.

Filling Vacant Officer Positions

We are looking for a Vice Chair and a Secretary to complete the Executive Committee.

Next board meeting will be called as needed.
