Meet at Waterfront Park, 508 S. Water St., Elizabeth City

Weeksville Road Litter Cleanup
Thursday, March 12, 1-2:30pm
Meet at the base main entrance on Weeksville Road
We’re getting a head start on our annual cleanup before the Coast Guard Marathon. Our plan is to pick up litter on a 1-mile stretch of Weeksville Road along the fence line of the Base. If we have enough volunteers, we will divide the group into two. Half will start at the base main entrance and work their way south, and the rest will start at the corner of Weeksville Road and Consolidated and work north.
All supplies provided. Adults only. Please join us.

We’ll let you know what to look for, what’s acceptable to keep for recycling and what’s not. This is a suitable activity for families. Please join us. After we’re done sorting, stay and enjoy some pizza.
