DIY Litter Sweep
You decide where and when you want to do your litter sweep. Pick a place that matters to you — in your own neighborhood, on your drive to work, near your church or your child’s school. Make sure it’s a safe location. For more information, see the NCDOT Guidelines.
Or, you can join one of our group cleanups of Halstead Blvd Ext.
Join Us for a Group Litter Sweep
As part of its Spring Litter Sweep, Green Saves Green is hosting two group Litter Sweeps of Halstead Blvd Extended this month. Please join us! You will need gloves, a reflective safety vest and a grabber to participate. Trash bags will be provided.
Wear sturdy closed-toed shoes or boots and long pants. Don’t forget your hat, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle. Children ages 12-17 are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult. Let’s get this town cleaned up!
The following will be required for participation: gloves, vest, grabber, mask
Saturday April 10, north side of Halstead Extended. GOOD CLEAN FUN will meet in Coastal Eye Center's parking lot at 9:45 am.
Saturday, April 17, south side of Halstead Extended. TRASH TITANS will meet at Albemarle Movies 8 at 9:45 am.
Please review and follow NCDOT Safety Guidelines. Volunteers should practice social distancing, and wear a mask if less than 6 ft apart. Thanks for helping!
