River Sweep
Got a boat, paddle board, canoe, or kayak? Join us for a group cleanup of a local waterway or do one on your own anytime in October. The date of the group cleanup is not yet set, and will be determined according to weather forecasts. Sign up and put "join group cleanup" under Location, and we'll be in touch with the details.
How to Do a River Sweep
Pick a waterway that needs a cleanup.
If you don’t have a boat or kayak, you can find shoreline litter in lots of places.
Set a day and time for your River Sweep.

Be safe. Take someone with you. Wear your PFDs. Please review and follow NCDOT Safety guidelines below.
Do your cleanup. Don’t forget to take photos!
