I grew up fishing, swimming in, and generally enjoying the Chowan River and other surrounding waters. Now that I have kids of my own I want them to have similar experiences in our waters. However, their health and safety is paramount so we must limit our river time. This is discouraging as I try to encourage their love of the outdoors. Please help our area work to solve this environmental, economical, and health concern.
